EON Reality announces 114 new launch markets for its AVR platform

In Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality News

January 27, 2020 – EON Reality, a provider of Augmented and Virtual Reality-based knowledge and skills transfer for industry and education, has recently announced the addition of 114 new launch markets for its AVR Platform in 2020.

The launches will begin in early February with locations in Sweden, Morocco, Italy, India, Singapore, Australia, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Laos, before spreading across six continents over the next several months.

Supported by over three-dozen EON Reality team members around the globe, the undertaking is the latest step in the company’s global movement to provide access to AR and VR technology to millions of users regardless of location, background, or socioeconomic status. EON Reality states that the movement goes hand-in-hand with its AVR Platform’s recent and upcoming accessibility updates, including translation and localization in more languages, a new interface, tutorials, and integration into additional devices and systems.

EON Reality stated that as a means to make the AVR Platform accessible and affordable to nations of all types, it will continue to use its KnowledgeBit initiative to scale the cost of AR and VR content to be reasonable for any location, even if it means cutting into potential profits.

By bringing the AVR Platform to new locations (such as Greenland and certain areas of Africa and the Middle East) without abundant access to AR and VR technology, EON Reality aims to help improve each region’s comfort levels with the technology. In addition to increasing the efficiency of education and employment training for current industries in the areas, becoming knowledgeable, comfortable, and more aware of the usage and benefits of AR and VR technology can help to expand each location’s horizons when it comes to developing and maintaining the jobs and primary industries of the future, according to the company.

For locations that aren’t currently on the company’s schedule, EON Reality will also be continuing its series of webinars tailored to AR and VR use for different aspects and industries ranging from higher education to telecommunications companies.
