July 10, 2019 – EON Reality Inc., together with Jinshui Science and Technology Bureau and Zhengzhou Jinda Real Estate Development Co., Ltd, has announced the launch of its Interactive Digital Center (IDC) in the Jinshui district of Zhengzhou city, Henan Province, China.
Located at the Jinshui District Science and Technology Museum in the heart of Henan’s capital, the new IDC will place EON Reality’s Augmented and Virtual Reality (AVR) solutions alongside other science and technology exhibits and companies. The new AVR hub will provide exclusive technological access to augmented and virtual reality technology for the entire province, and its inclusion within Jinshui’s upcoming Cultural Activities Center will allow the IDC to help educate visitors on the new immersive technology.
EON Reality Founder, Dan Lejerskar, commented: “We are very excited to take the next step into China by opening an IDC in the science-heavy district of Jinshui. Not only do we hope to improve the daily lives of individual students, teachers, and entrepreneurs all over Henan, but we also look forward to working with local, regional, and national companies to roll out AVR solutions on an even larger scale in collaboration with our location in Zhangzhou.”
EON Reality anticipates that its AVR Platform will help to expand the Classroom 3.0 and Industry 4.0 movements around the globe, and both sides of the new partnership expect China will play a large role in this. By opening the IDC and VR Innovation Academy in Jinshui, EON Reality can now train the next generation of AVR-friendly students, workers, and employers to understand and benefit from the technology.
