July 9, 2020 – In partnership with Genius Ventures Inc., BentoHR, Microsoft, and powered by AltspaceVR in virtual reality, on July 28 & 29, the Global HR Summit will showcase immersive workplace (XR) technologies that enable digital transformation and make workplaces more human-centric.

The opening keynote will be delivered by virtual reality pioneer, Tom Furness, with proceeds from ticket sales going to his charitable organization; Virtual World Society – which aims to use immersive technology to drive positive change. The Global HR Summit will be presented in both 2D via a YouTube live-stream, and in a 3D virtual reality format through the AltspaceVR platform. The event will also be recorded in its entirety and available for future viewing.

The Global HR Summit is inviting its visitors to immerse themselves in future workplace XR technologies, and will cover discussion topics that include:

  • Digital Transformation: The Path to Human-Centricity;
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Reimagined;
  • XR Deployed: What HR Organizations Are Doing Today;
  • Working Parents: Our New Normal;
  • XR Technologies in Recruitment, Performance & Learning.

The event will be offering a number of different formats, including:

  • Keynote Addresses;
  • Panel Discussions;
  • Workshops / Demonstrations;
  • Podcast Activations;
  • Networking Sessions.

Tickets for the Summit are limited, with only 1,000 tickets available for the AltspaceVR format, costing USD $99, and 10,000 tickets for the YouTube live-stream format, which will cost attendees USD $49. A spokesperson for the Summit confirmed that proceeds from ticket sales (after the cost of the event) will be donated to the Virtual World Society.
