LiveXLive partners with Strax Networks to bring Augmented Reality to its live events streaming platform

August 24, 2020 – LiveXLive Media, a global platform for livestream and on-demand audio, video and podcast content in music, comedy, and pop culture, has today announced that it has partnered with Strax Networks Inc. to bring its augmented reality ‘StraxAR’ SaaS platform to LiveXLive. The two companies will collaborate to bring Strax Networks’ new augmented reality technology across the LiveXLive platform and its OTT distribution network.

LiveXLive states that its livestreams, Pay-Per-View events and vodcasts will now be able to offer exclusive content directly from artists, as well as provide audiences with interaction opportunities, the ability to purchase items from video footage and exclusive behind the scenes footage. The StraxAR augmented reality (AR) technology will allow for continuous, direct engagement with fans, and will help LiveXLive to deliver unique interactive immersive content worldwide.
