Vuzix receives CCC certification for sale of its M400 Smart Glasses in China

July 4, 2020 – Vuzix Corporation, a supplier of smart glasses and augmented reality (AR) technology and products, has announced that its M400 Smart Glasses have received CCC certification for sale in China.

Vuzix states that resellers of its products in China are expected to target COVID-19 business continuity support opportunities in the country, as well as other smart glasses applications.The M400 Smart Glasses feature Chinese native voice recognition processing and fully localized screens, as well as a camera that provides field service and vision-picking capabilities, a ruggedized and drop-tested mechanical design suited for users working in harsh environments, and hold an IP67 rating for waterproof and dustproof operation.

Paul Travers, President and Chief Executive Officer of Vuzix, commented: “China, in particular, should represent a significant market opportunity for Vuzix and we are ready to hit the ground running immediately to address the needs of our global customers with operations in China that wish to deploy past their small pilots”.
