February 24, 2026 – VIVERSE, a web content distribution platform by HTC, has today announced the launch of its VIVERSE Partner Program. The new performance-based rewards initiative is designed to provide creators with a transparent method to monetize digital content, including games, videos, web apps, and immersive artwork, based on audience engagement rather than traditional advertisement impressions.
According to HTC, the program pays creators based on unique views and engagement time, with earnings accruing immediately through view-based payouts once a creator reaches a minimum threshold of USD $50. A “view” is defined by VIVERSE as a user interacting with content for at least 30 seconds. By paying for direct engagement in this way, the program offers a direct revenue stream for creators of all audience sizes.
“In today’s online economy, creators are often only paid when ads are served – leaving earnings at the mercy of ad inventory, blockers, geography, and fluctuating demand, causing promised CPMs to fall short of actual payouts,” said Andranik Aslanyan, Head of Growth, HTC VIVERSE. “VIVERSE removes that uncertainty by paying creators for real engagement, not ad impressions.”
Furthermore, VIVERSE stated that it does not use creator content for AI or machine learning training, and all intellectual property remains with the creator.
HTC stated that benefits of the VIVERSE Creator Partner Program include:
- Content Ownership: The program is non-exclusive, allowing creators to publish and monetize their work, including content already published on other platforms.
- Ease of Distribution: Content can be shared via URL or embedded in third-party websites as an iFrame with no installation required.
- Multidisciplinary Support: The program is open to game developers, video creators, web app builders, and digital artists across various formats and engines.
- Low Barrier to Entry: There are no minimum follower requirements or proprietary tool requirements, allowing approved creators to publish immediately.
- Transparent Reporting: Creators can access metrics for unique viewer counts and engagement time to track earnings.
“We get several benefits from hosting Frustrain on VIVERSE – from compensation based on viewership that keeps us motivated, to the ability to demonstrate our concept across platforms without getting bogged down in technical details,” said Gregory Molodtsov, Executive Producer of Frustrain, an immersive experience available on the VIVERSE platform. “VIVERSE takes care of the infrastructure, and the audience insights help us plan future concept expansions.”
The VIVERSE Partner Program is free to join and creators can sign up today to start monetizing their immersive content by visiting www.viverse.com/partner.
