New HMS SiNGRAY G2 AR Headset to Ship With frontline.io’s XR Platform

In Augmented Reality News

July 1, 2025 — frontline.io, a provider of augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) solutions for training and operational support, has today announced it has been selected as the software provider for the newly released SiNGRAY G2 AR headset from HMS Co., Ltd., a Japanese company that specializes in AI image recognition technology for edge computing.

What is the HMS SiNGRAY G2 headset?

The SiNGRAY G2 features 1920×1080 Micro-OLED displays per eye, a frame rate of 90 Hz, and a 47° diagonal field of view. The headset supports both 3DoF and 6DoF spatial tracking modes, has a front glass with adjustable darkness for varied lighting environments, and includes a 4,800 mAh swappable battery for extended field use.

Through a dedicated partnership with HMS, frontline.io’s AR software will be pre-installed and optimized on the SiNGRAY G2 device, offering an industrial-grade AR solution targeted at enterprise environments.

Powered by Qualcomm’s QCS8550 chipset and integrated Intel Movidius AI processing, the device is designed for low-latency rendering of complex 3D models. frontline.io stated that this capability supports remote collaboration and enhances the real-time performance of its digital twin platform.

What does frontline.io’s platform do?

frontline.io’s digital twin platform is designed to help enterprises simulate and interact with machinery without physical contact. By embedding the software on the SiNGRAY G2, the companies aim to streamline AR deployment across factory floors, field service operations, and high-intensity logistics environments.

According to frontline.io, the combination of the SiNGRAY G2 headset and its digital twin platform is aimed at industries where complex equipment and specialized training are essential, including manufacturing, printing, medical devices, aerospace and defense, semiconductors, and agricultural machinery.

A potential replacement for HoloLens or Magic Leap?

“The disruptions that the discontinuation of HoloLens 2 and Magic Leap 1 caused showed us a significant opportunity to fill a much-needed gap in the industry. We’re excited to partner with HMS and utilize the power of the SiNGRAY G2 to deliver unrivaled AR software capabilities to businesses worldwide,” said Itzhak Pichadze, CEO of frontline.io. “After working with HMS on this for the past year, we’re able to deliver users an ultra-smooth presentation of real-time digital twin interactions and guided workflows on the best wearable AR device.”

When will the SiNGRAY G2 be available?

Pre-orders for enterprise customers are expected in late 2025, with mass production scheduled for early 2026. Early demonstrations of the SiNGRAY G2 are being held at the XR & Metaverse Fair Tokyo from July 2 to 4, 2025.
