March 6, 2019 – Global commercial real estate services firm Colliers International Group Inc. has announced the launch of ‘Neighborhood Curated by Colliers’, a platform that consists of technology-forward services, providing partnerships centered around augmented reality, cyber security and community staffing, which brings new life to properties.

“As the mobile revolution continues to change how people interact, we are constantly creating new ways to engage with tenants, streamline operations and build a sense of community for our clients,” said Colliers President of Real Estate Management Services in the US, Karen Whitt. “To continue to stay at the forefront of innovation in this ever-evolving industry, we created Neighborhood Curated by Colliers because it enables us to connect with our tenants and clients to better serve their needs.”

Colliers partnered with The Layer Group, which allows companies to monetize and protect the opportunities that augmented reality real estate rights offer. According to The Layer Group, “AR Advertising represents a huge new opportunity for real estate owners to monetize their properties, creating essentially unlimited advertising space.” As a result, the company offers a range of solutions for landowners to protect their properties from infringement, generate additional revenue, and increase property value. These include: Property monitoring, which monitors a property for abuse in a growing list of augmented reality games as well as for AR advertising; AR opt-out, which can get property removed from featuring in unwanted AR services; AR Advertising Brokering; and AR property value calculations.

“At Colliers, we continually strive to be one of the most enterprising and forward-thinking companies in the industry,” said Gil Borok, Colliers Chief Operating Officer, US Operations. “The launch of this platform is a big step forward in offering the best resources and services possible to accelerate the success of our tenants, clients and professionals.”

For security services, Colliers partnered with Blackpoint Cyber for the provision of its security operations and incident response platform, SNAP-Defense, and its Networked Industrial Control Operations Security (NICOS) module for securing both IT and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructures as a 24/7 managed service. Colliers also partnered with companies Wirkn and Lane to offer tenants access to the Neighborhood Curated by Colliers platform. The platform utilizes Colliers professional’s advisory, technology and procurement expertise, and is available to tenants and clients across the US.
