July 25, 2025 – DreamPark, a developer of location-based XR entertainment, has recently announced that it has opened a 25,000-square-foot permanent mixed reality (MR) venue at West Canal Yards, a waterfront redevelopment in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood.
Described by the company as “the world’s largest mixed reality theme park,” the installation features a free-roam augmented reality experience designed for adults and children aged 4 and up. Visitors can engage in immersive multiplayer adventures that overlay digital content onto the physical world, with no need for permanent infrastructure or construction.
Featured on ABC’s Shark Tank earlier this year, DreamPark’s solution helps convert underutilized real-world spaces into interactive, revenue-generating destinations. Its entertainment experiences are designed to engage social users and corporate teams seeking innovative team-building activities.
“This West Canal Yards installation is a testament to our ability to create immersive and profitable entertainment units quickly and efficiently,” said Aidan Wolf, Co-Founder and CEO of DreamPark. “We are thrilled to bring this to the vibrant Seattle community, especially given its strong game audience and proximity to major tech companies.”
The project was led by Ned Carner, founder and president of Wing Point Partners. “With West Canal Yards, our goal is to create a place that invites people to visit and enjoy our working waterfront. DreamPark plays a key role in that vision by quickly revitalizing the space and helping to transform it into a vibrant entertainment hub for family fun.”
Now open Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 6 p.m., the DreamPark Seattle experience features a mixed reality drift trike racing game, as well as options for team-building events and birthday parties. General admission costs USD $20, with the DreamPark Raceway experience available for $10. For more information and tickets, click here.
