January 12, 2026 – L’Atitude 52°N, a provider of smart eyewear solutions, has recently announced the launch of its new ‘Departure Collection’. Showcasing the devices at CES 2026 in Las Vegas last week, L’Atitude 52°N stated that its new smart glasses are designed for real-life motion and integrate advanced features while maintaining a focus on design.

Available in seven frame-color combinations, the Departure Collection includes three distinct models: the ‘Berlin,’ which features a navigator silhouette; the ‘Milan,’ featuring a panto design; and the ‘Antwerp,’ which offers a rectangular frame.

“L’Atitude 52°N was born from the pulse of the city, where style is lived, not just seen,” said Gary Chen, CEO and Founder of L’Atitude 52°N. “We design for moments when clarity and presence matter most; blending subtle technology with effortless style that creates quiet enhancement, not spectacle.”

What features does the L’Atitude 52°N Departure Collection include?

Technologically, the eyewear integrates a 6nm AI processor and “advanced sensors,” according to the company. A 107° POV camera allows users to capture images in both portrait and landscape modes. Other features include live translation in English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian for real-time two-way dialogue. Additionally, an ‘Intercom Strap’ enables hands-free, offline communication turning each pair of glasses into a walkie-talkie-style device when connected to a group. The company stated that the Intercom Strap uses a Bluetooth and mesh network to enable group voice chat for eight people with a 500m range, with no phone or internet required.

Furthermore, the glasses feature ‘Contextual AI’ with voice-activated modes that offer features such as local recommendations in museums and city tours. Content syncs via the companion app, ‘LAtitude 52’, which is available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

L’Atitude 52°N stated that the glasses have been built to withstand the elements, and utilize ultra-light TR90 frames with stainless-steel hinges. Each device is enhanced by hydrophobic and oleophobic double-AR lens coatings and rated IP65 for dust and splash resistance.

The glasses come complete with a charging case.

Powered by a 200mAh battery, the Departure Collection offers users approximately six hours of mixed outdoor use, according to the company. The glasses are also accompanied by a charging case offering IP67 protection.

During CES, the company also unveiled a new prototype for a specialized sport model that featured lightweight frames, hands-free music capabilities, and health monitoring functions such as heart rate, blood oxygen, and body temperature tracking.

When will the L’Atitude 52°N Departure Collection be available to buy?

The Departure Collection is scheduled for open sales in Q1 2026 in the US, UK, and Europe via the company’s website, as well as from selected partners. To learn more about L’Atitude 52°N and its smart glasses solutions, click here.
