Even Realities launches its G2 smart glasses and R1 smart ring, adding AI features and upgraded optical tech.
Why it matters
By combining AI, productivity, and wellness tracking, Even Realities joins the rising AR wearables race, with the R1 ring shaping how comfort and control define everyday smart glasses.
The bigger picture
As the AR and AI smart glasses market continues to expand, the G2 adds another display-enabled device to the mix and shows how AI-driven eyewear is transitioning from niche tech to practical lifestyle devices.
In Augmented Reality News
November 12, 2025 – Even Realities, a provider of smart eyewear and AI-powered wearable technology, has announced the launch of its second-generation smart glasses, the Even G2, alongside a new companion device, the Even R1 smart ring.
Even G2 Smart Glasses Optics and Display Specifications
The G2 builds on the company’s first-generation glasses with upgraded optics, a slimmer design, and expanded AI capabilities. Central to the update is Even HAO (Holistic Adaptive Optics), the company’s proprietary display system that integrates projectors, waveguides, and lenses into what it describes as a “perfect optical orchestra.” HAO 2.0 delivers sharper visuals, improved peripheral vision, and greater clarity in both digital overlays and real-world passthrough, according to the company.
The HAO system uses miniature microLED projectors that are 40% smaller than those in the first-generation model to deliver brighter, higher-contrast imagery through multi-layer lenses that are 30% thinner at the center. Even Realities stated that the G2 smart glasses utilize a graded grating structure within the waveguide that evenly distributes light to create a more natural, uniform image, resulting in a 75% larger display area, 50% sharper detail, and improved brightness uniformity.

AI Features, Design and Conversate Integration in Even G2
The glasses also introduce Conversate, a contextual AI feature that provides real-time information, summaries, or definitions during conversation. Other functions include real-time translation in 31 languages, teleprompter mode, voice-activated commands, and navigation via a built-in geomagnetic sensor.
The G2 features a 27.5-degree field of view, 640 × 350 resolution, and a 60 Hz refresh rate, powered by a green microLED display with brightness reaching 1,200 nits. The device offers 98% passthrough transparency for clear real-world visibility when the display is inactive. Optical components include binocular waveguides and a patented screwless hinge system. The glasses also support auto-brightness control through onboard sensors and include four microphones and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for voice input and device pairing.
Constructed with a magnesium alloy frame and titanium temples, the G2 features IP67-rated water and dust resistance, along with up to two days of battery life and a charging case capable of seven full recharges, according to the company. Prescription lenses are supported from −12.00 to +12.00, and a new UltraFit service allows opticians to adjust frame geometry for a custom fit.

Even R1 Smart Ring Integration
Alongside the G2, the company launched its new R1 smart ring, which is designed to control the glasses through tap, swipe, and press gestures. The wearable also tracks biometric and wellness data, including heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep quality, and skin temperature, and generates a “Productivity Score” reflecting mental readiness.

The devices all work together through TriSync connectivity, which links the G2 glasses, R1 ring, and companion app. The feature enables synchronized control and communication between devices, creating a cohesive user experience across the Even Realities ecosystem.
Both the Even G2 smart glasses and the Even R1 smart ring connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth and integrate with the Even Realities mobile app for iOS and Android. The company added that its upcoming Even Hub, expected later this year, will allow developers to create new applications for the G2.

Even Realities G2 Pricing and Availability
Both the G2 and R1 devices are now available to order through the company’s website, with the G2 priced at USD $599 and the R1 at USD $249. Early buyers of the G2 will also receive 50% off the R1, while existing G1 customers will be offered the ring for free.
