September 10, 2026 – Avantis Education, a provider of virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) learning technology for education, has recently announced the launch of EduverseSTEM, a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education suite designed for students aged 11 to 18.
According to the company, EduverseSTEM delivers over 500 STEM experiences and includes modules that support Project-Based Learning (PBL). The company noted that the modules are mapped to a Gold Standard PBL framework and provide teacher guidance, session plans, curriculum objectives, and key vocabulary for every project.
The library combines Avantis Education’s own curriculum-aligned VR/AR STEM resources with content from STEM partners AttainXR, Delightex Edu, iXRLabs, Filament Games, Proteus Labs, Singer Studios, and VictoryXR, all under a single subscription.
Avantis Education noted that STEM subjects are often taught through traditional ‘chalk and talk’ methods, making it difficult for students to make connections between topics, and that schools face further challenges including financing laboratories and equipment, classroom safety, and maintaining student engagement. EduverseSTEM supports disciplinary and interdisciplinary learning, according to the company, giving teachers flexibility to explore individual subjects as well as to combine and connect concepts across multiple subjects.
“EduverseSTEM represents a significant step forward in how VR/AR can support STEM education. We have put pedagogy at the heart of the solution, bringing together curriculum-aligned content from Avantis with carefully curated resources from industry leading partners to create a comprehensive, all-in-one STEM package,” said Simon Bradshaw, Head of Education at Avantis Education.
“Through Project-Based Learning, EduverseSTEM enables students to explore complex STEM concepts in depth, make connections across subjects and apply their learnings to real-world contexts. Our ambition is to equip educators with the tools to deliver meaningful and engaging STEM learning experiences, underpinned by strong pedagogy and a clear educational purpose,” Bradshaw added.
The education suite combines ClassVR Xcelerate, Avantis Education’s six degrees of freedom (6DoF) headsets, with a content library mapped to recognized curriculum standards, including the UK National Curriculum, IB (MYP/DP), NGSS, and ACARA.
EduverseSTEM is now available in the United Kingdom. Subscriptions are available on three- and five-year licenses, with support across seven languages. The company added that like all of its ClassVR solutions, the suite features real-time classroom monitoring and built-in safeguarding controls.
