September 21, 2026 – Rokid, a developer of augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) smart glasses, has recently announced the global launch of AIUI Studio, an agentic AI development platform for the company’s AI glasses.
Rokid made the announcement earlier this month at IFA Berlin 2026, stating that AIUI Studio is a platform for building spatial AI applications that run on Rokid AI Glasses, the company’s smart eyewear. Developers can access AIUI Studio directly through their web browsers, with an AI-native workflow that spans design through publishing. Built-in hardware simulation also lets them create and test applications without owning a physical pair.
AIUI Studio integrates the AIUI Skills Library framework and AIUI Code assistance. The company noted that this combination helps developers optimize their creations by lowering latency, memory use, and power consumption. Users can also dictate their ideas in plain language and let AIUI Studio build the app for them, with no coding experience needed.
“An open AI ecosystem should give people more than access to models and applications. It should also give them the ability to create around their own ideas and needs,” said Ben Liu, Head of Global Communications and Brand at Rokid. “With AIUI Studio, we’re lowering that barrier and helping more people turn ideas into working smart glasses agents.”
According to the company, its global developer community has grown to over 35,000 registered developers, with more than 500 agents available through the Rokid Agent Store. AIUI Studio is now available globally.
At the IFA 2026 event in Berlin, Rokid stated that it was invited by organizers to host accessibility tours for visually impaired visitors, welcoming four groups totaling more than 60 participants. The company added that its Rokid Glasses include an object and environment recognition feature, which helps people living with visual impairments stay aware of their surroundings.
European product availability and channel expansion
Finally, Rokid has launched a new dedicated United Kingdom website, and stated that it is expanding its digital presence across Europe. The company’s products are now also available through Krys’s physical retail store in Paris, the Selfridges Tech Bar in the United Kingdom, and Coolblue across Germany and the Benelux region. Rokid added that these new channels create more opportunities for consumers to experience the company’s technology firsthand.
