Bigscreen and Paramount Pictures announce multi-year movie distribution deal for Virtual Reality

December 16, 2019 – Fans of watching movies in virtual reality will be pleased to hear that Oculus has confirmed that Bigscreen and Paramount Pictures have announced a multi-year agreement to distribute 3D and 2D films in VR across 10 countries.

Beginning today, four new movies will premiere in Bigscreen every week in the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Australia, and Japan. Films are shown live with scheduled showtimes every 30 minutes. Users can purchase tickets at bigscreenvr.com/cinema.

The full lineup for the first four weeks of VR movies is as follows:

Users can download the Bigscreen Beta app on Oculus Quest, the Rift Platform, or Oculus Go.
