December 17, 2019 – SpringboardVR, a content marketplace and distribution platform for VR Arcade operators, and VRstudios, an innovator of turn-key wireless multiplayer virtual reality systems for Location-Based Entertainment businesses, have recently announced a partnership to deliver a selection of SpringboardVR titles for play on VRstudios’ ATOM VR attractions in commercial locations.

“VRstudios’ expertise is in designing enterprise strength commercial VR systems with masterful content, all powered by our Attraction Management Platform (AMP)”, noted Kevin Vitale, CEO and Chairman of VRstudios. “We are excited to augment our own portfolio of attraction content made expressly for location-based entertainment with proven titles from the SpringboardVR Marketplace so that our customers and their guests will have access to even more of the most popular games in VR, all seamlessly managed through AMP.”

Brad Scoggin, CEO and co-founder of SpringboardVR, commented: “SpringboardVR’s mission is to make the best VR content available to everyone, everywhere and we are happy to expand our content distribution channel and now deliver games to VRStudios’ ATOM VR attractions”. He added, “Our content is already curated for high play value in locations, we think the titles we are bringing to the ATOM are going to drive a lot of interest and fun.”

Popular VR titles including SUPERHOT VR: Arcade Edition, Shooty Fruity Arcade, YUKI, Loco Dojo, Tower Tag, as well as other titles in VR Arcades, will be available on VRstudios’ ATOM – a modular 10×10 square foot wireless VR attraction that the company states is designed for “high earning potential in a small footprint.” ATOM users can play individually, team-up, or go head-to-head, with interconnectivity between ATOM units for immersive virtual reality experiences and customization.

SpringboardVR’s Marketplace offers VR games and experiences from over 270 content creators and distributes to hundreds of operators (primarily VR Arcade businesses) in 45 countries, according to the company.

VRstudios retail customers include Cineplex’s Cinemas, Rec Room and Playdium destinations, and the newly announced Junxion. This past weekend, SpringboardVR and VRStudios executives met with interested parties at the VRX Conference & Expo in San Francisco.
