DPVR announces new accessories for its E4 PCVR headset

In Virtual Reality News

June 9, 2023 – DPVR, a provider of virtual reality (VR) devices, has this week announced a range of free accessories designed to enhance the user experience of the company’s recently released E4 headset.

The new accessories include:

  • Anti-Scratch Lens Protector: A silicone layer that protects E4’s lenses from potential scratches caused by wearing the headset in combination with prescription glasses;
  • In-ear Headphones: Wired headphones that plug into the headset’s 3.5 mm jack. The headphones come in a lightweight aluminum housing, and have a frequency range from 20-20000hz to deliver high-quality audio with deeper bass, accurate midrange, and clear treble at 110±3dB for a truly immersive auditory experience;
  • Cable Management Clip: A lightweight and small wire clip that keeps cords for tethering the headset to a PC in place, preventing them from getting tangled during gameplay.
  • Magnetic Face Liner: An easy-to-install face cover with four magnetic buckles that quickly connects to the E4 headset.

“We are delighted to present these new accessories,” said Derek Liu, VP at DPVR. “After the release of the E4, we received a lot of feedback from our users, many of whom expressed a desire for additional features, such as the detachable magnetic face liner. We are very grateful for all of the suggestions and feedback that was provided by our customers. Our aim at DPVR has always been to build great products with our customers’ needs at the forefront of any improvements to our technology.”

Liu added, “We have some exciting plans on the horizon, including the upcoming release of  controller grips and more magnetic facial interface accessories, to help further enrich the user experience on the E4.”

DPVR stated that starting from June 5, customers who have previously purchased an E4 device can apply for free accessories from their original purchase channel (except for the face liner, which needs to be purchased separately).

In addition to the new accessories, DPVR also announced this week that its E4 VR headset is now available in the UK and in stock at local warehouses. To find out more information on DPVR and its VR headsets and accessories, please visit the company’s website.
