What’s the story?
ENGO launches engo Titanium, 28.9-gram augmented reality smart glasses for road runners and cyclists, with adjustable 3D-printed titanium temples.
Why it matters
engo Titanium’s color heads-up display, readable even in direct sunlight, puts 40+ customizable metrics such as heart rate, pace and cadence in the wearer’s field of vision.
The bigger picture
Smart glasses pay for every added feature, such as a camera or audio, in weight and battery life, so leaving features out is a design decision shaping comfort and how long a charge lasts.
October 7, 2026 – ENGO, a specialist in augmented reality (AR) smart glasses for running and cycling, has today launched engo Titanium, a 28.9-gram pair of AR glasses with 3D-printed titanium temples, made and assembled in France.
According to the company, engo Titanium shows road runners and cyclists information such as heart rate, pace and cadence in real time within their field of vision, using ActiveLook Light AR technology, also featured in ENGO’s current engo3 range of smart glasses. The interface is customizable via a companion app and covers 40+ metrics, shown on a high-brightness color heads-up display (HUD) OLED that is readable even in direct sunlight.
ENGO stated that the glasses also integrate widgets that allow users to follow structured workouts (such as interval training) and adjust their pace in real time, without taking their eyes off the road. Control is through a double tap sensor, and the glasses connect via Bluetooth Smart (BLE), with compatibility for Garmin and other devices via the ActiveLook ecosystem. Standard or adaptive photochromic lenses are available.

According to the company, features such as a camera, audio and AI were excluded during the design process to make the glasses as light as possible and to focus on battery life and comfort. The glasses offer battery life of 24+ hours minimum per charge. ENGO stated that traditional sport glasses weigh between 25 and 40 grams on average without any smart features.
The company described engo Titanium as “the lightest augmented reality running glasses ever made with 24+ hours autonomy.” The temples are adjustable both horizontally and vertically, and the glasses also have an adjustable nosebridge.
Commenting on the launch, Éric Marcellin-Dibon, Co-founder at ENGO, said: “With engo Titanium we redefine what it means to wear performance glasses. Our design is so light and seamless that athletes forget they’re even there while still delivering the most relevant data, anticipating their needs, and keeping them fully focused. For an endurance athlete or road cyclist, we believe that means the right information in your field of view, exceptional comfort and enough battery life to forget about the technology altogether.”
Available as a limited edition exclusively from engoeyewear.com, engo Titanium is is priced at EUR €599, USD $689.95 or GBP £489.95 for the classic version, and EUR €649, USD $759.95 or GBP £549.95 for the photochromic version. The glasses are offered in Azure, Silver and Shift variants.
