December 4, 2019 – AWE has today announced the dates of its AWE USA 2020 conference, which will again be taking place from May 27-29, 2019, at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

Speakers currently confirmed for AWE 2020 are from companies including: Microsoft, Shopify, Adobe, Nokia, Paramount Pictures, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, and others. Confirmed Exhibitors include: Augmentir, Cognitive 3D, Kopin, LetinAR, Nreal, Qualcomm, TeamViewer, Vuzix, and many more. Other companies that will be in attendance include: Amazon, Facebook, Google, Oculus, Disney, HTC, Walmart, Johnson & Johnson, and GE.

AWE 2019 was the biggest yet in the event’s 10 year history, and we expect this to be topped by AWE 2020, which will feature more than 250 exhibitors across over 100,000 sq ft of exhibition space. As with 2019’s event, next year’s seems to follow the same structure, in that it will be held over three days, with several talks and presentations to attend, as well as a large expo floor where attendees can view several exhibitor booths.

Furthermore, the conference will once again feature the AWE Playground, which will cover 20,000 sq ft, and will be home to some of the best AR and VR exhibits that the industry has to offer. The AWE Playground is arguably one of the best things about the AWE events, as it gives attendees a chance to get hands-on with the latest technology that is helping to push the industry forward and drive growth and greater adoption. We had such a good time at the 2019 AWE Playground that our Managing Editor even made the 2019 Supercut on YouTube whilst demoing the brilliant Reactive Grip controllers from Tactical Haptics.

AWE is also currently taking applications for first-of-its-kind, immersive AR & VR demos to join the 2020 AWE Playground. All experiences must be either a premiere, launch or an exclusive creation for the AWE Playground and an experience that leverages working technology in an engaging, fun and exciting fashion that is ready for a high throughput of visitors. Interested parties should apply through the AWE website, here.

Those interested in attending can currently save USD $700, as ‘super early bird’ all-access tickets are now available from the AWE website for USD $595. Two-day all-access passes are available for USD $395, and expo-only passes are just USD $249. These super early bird prices are available until February 3, 2020.

Dates have also been announced for AWE’s Asia and Europe 2020 events in both Shenzhen, China and Munich, Germany, which are being held on March 28-29, 2020, and October 15-16, 2020 respectively.
