April 29, 2019 – Bluedrop Performance Learning and its subsidiary Bluedrop Training & Simulation has today announced that it has received contracts of over CDN $2,000,000 to deliver its Hoist Mission Training System to Florida-based Logistic Services International (LSI) for the US Air Force.
The new HH-60W virtual reality Hoist Simulator will provide US Air Force crews the ability to complete rescue missions and specific hoist and crew communication evolutions in an operationally relevant simulation environment. According to Bluedrop, as “one of the first virtual reality hoist mission training simulators available within the US Air Force”, the company expects it to help enhance crew readiness at reduced risk and cost.
“We are very pleased to achieve this ‘first’, that underlines our success in extending our reach towards new markets for both our products and services offerings” said Jean-Claude Siew, Vice President of Technology & Simulation at Bluedrop.
