Dispelix and AAC announce strategic partnership to provide AR and MR industry with high-quality waveguide displays

March 9, 2022 – Dispelix, a provider of see-through waveguide displays for augmented and mixed reality (AR/MR) wearables, and AAC Technologies Holdings Inc., a solutions provider for smart devices, have announced a strategic partnership that will combine Dispelix’ waveguide technology with AAC’s expertise in wafer-level optics mass manufacturing. Through the partnership the two companies will provide the AR and MR wearables industry with access to high quality see-through waveguide displays.

With the announcement, AAC becomes one of Dispelix’ strategic partners for the mass manufacturing of its see-through waveguide displays to support the growing global demand associated with the AR and MR wearables markets. The companies stated that they will now be working together to provide the “highest quality waveguide displays designed to deliver industry-leading form factor, image quality and clarity performance.”
