December 28, 2023 – P&C Solution, a provider of augmented reality (AR) glasses and XR simulator solutions, has recently announced its participation in CES 2024, one of the world’s largest technology trade shows, where it will unveil its ‘ METALENSE 2’ device in a few weeks time.
P&C Solution, which offers a range of XR/AR technologies for the enterprise, will be showcasing the latest iteration of its ‘METALENSE’ product, the first iteration of which was showcased at CES 2023 at the beginning of this year, and garnered a CES 2023 Innovation Award.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 chipset, the METALENSE 2 is an XR headset that “marks a significant leap forward in outdoor AR visibility,” according to the company. P&C Solution stated that the headset’s plastic lenses and their unique geometric optical design help to enhance light efficiency and external light transmittance, outperforming traditional diffractive optics. Additionally, the METALSENSE 2’s OLED dual-display boasts QHD resolution, providing clearer and sharper image quality compared to its predecessor.
P&C Solution added that one of the most notable features of the METALENSE 2 is the device’s ability to go beyond just AR and also support extended reality applications. A P&C Solution representative noted that the new model aims to provide customers with an enriched, immersive experience, along with a more sophisticated digital content integration environment.
Furthermore, the company has optimized the product’s continuous usage time by integrating standardized rechargeable batteries, ensuring users have a reliable and replaceable power supply.
2024 will mark P&C Solution’s third year at CES. The METALENSE 2 will be on display from the company’s booth #16059, located in the Las Vegas Convention Center during CES from January 9-12.
The company noted that its “continued presence and innovation in the realm of consumer electronics demonstrate its commitment to advancing XR/AR technology and improving user experiences worldwide.”
