In October 22, 2019 – Vuzix Corporation and Librestream Technologies, a provider of augmented reality enterprise solutions, have announced a partnership to optimize compatibility of Librestream’s Onsight Connect remote expert software for the Vuzix M300XL and new M400 Smart Glasses.
Charlie Neagoy, VP Business Development at Librestream, said: “We have been working with Vuzix, in conjunction with our industrial customers, over the past year. We undertook this expanded investment to enhance the overall customer experience and support the latest innovations from Vuzix.”
Librestream’s Onsight Connect remote expert software provides secure access to remote experts and augmented content to assist with the diagnosis, inspection, and resolving of issues in the field. With interactive tools such as two-way telestration, video, audio, image sharing, and augmented content, Onsight supports a range of mobile devices, computers and wearables to leverage expertise and capture asset data, according to the company. The Onsight AR platform also includes core capabilities, such as digital work instructions, IoT data, and ecosystem integration, to help support deployments at scale.
“Librestream’s Onsight Connect platform, now optimized for our M300XL and M400 Smart Glasses, brings a new level of functionality and performance to the augmented worker,” said Paul Travers, Vuzix President and Chief Executive Officer. “This combined solution is already being used and evaluated by customers throughout North America and Europe.”
Vuzix will be showcasing the joint solution at the Librestream Innovator Forum, an event that brings together Librestream partners and customers across industries in London, England on October 23-24.
